Student Activities

bi-studentcleanupIn addition to completing coursework related to the Biology major, students in the department are very active in the community.  Members of the Biology club have volunteered in Arbor Day tree plantings, highway trash pickup, and Brain Awareness Week activities at The Franklin Institute Science Museum.  Individual students have also completed volunteer work at area hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices, and veterinary practices.  Students also have the opportunity to participate in research projects and present their results at scientific meetings.  An example of recent biology students are available on the Biology Student Profile page.
